Hunting Indian Valley Wildlife Area
Ive been way to busy recently to update this, but in october I went to Indian Valley Wildlife Area to go deer/pig hunting. Getting there is a bit tricky especially if you drive up there in the dark. There is a nice little campground near the lake with a bathroom, but you must bring your own drinking water. There is a campgrouind/RV park closer to the reseviour where you must pay to overnight there. if you want to do any fishing there you must also pay a day use fee, but on the other side you can go fishing without having to pay. There are plenty of does around (it a buck only zone). There is a firestation nearby so you can have your deer tag validated there which is nice. In terms of wildlife there, I saw deer, quail, turkey, and I did find a pig carcass. On the back side there are bears as well. I will upload pictures soon as I am short on time at the moment.
To all of those who read these posts. I would highly encourage you to comment on your expiriences at any of these places if you have or do go visit them.

FIshing at Stevens Creek Reservoir
I went to Stevens Creek Reservoir yesterday. This is a nice man-made lake up in the hills of Cupertino. It is a nice place to go fishing for carp, rainbow trout, suckerfish, crappie, bass, bluegill, and catfish. This year, the water is the lowest it has ever been and I am concerned the whole thing may dry up before it rains. I usually use worms, which can be bought at the local liquor stores nearby. This time I caught a 3-4 carp, an 18 inch bass, and a 6 inch catfish and a small turtle. Usually I will only catch one or two species of fish here, but since the water is so low I believe they are all just hanging around each other. There is a nice picknic area half way around the lake where you don't need to pay for parking, while parking in the main lot is 5$. The park is open from 8am to sunset and the rangers do issue citations for those people who stay longer. They also stock the reservoir several times a year with rainbow trout. An important note for the fish here is that they are not edible. Their mercury level is too high.

Coyote Point Fishing
I went fishing at coyote point the other day for the first time with my brother. I really didnt know what to expect to catch there so i just threw in a fishing rod with 30# test a 3 oz pyramid weight and a size 4 hook with defosted squid and anchovy on it. Within 30 minutes we had a bite. We could feel it was a big one, so we fought it to make it tired and when we finally landed it we were surprized that we had caught a stingray in the 20-30# range. We caught several more after that. We were in the park, parking fee is 5$ or so. But you can also fish nearby from the parking lots around the area and not have to pay the parking fee. I am sure there are also sharks around that area, but unfortunatly we didnt catch any. THere is also a shooting range by the park. Ive attached links below for the park and the shooting range.

Bulls Eye
So I was just stumbled upon this pretty sweet picture of some one who was target shooting, when a fly landed on their target.
